Since this not a Historical question, why do you post it here and not in Religion & Spirituality?

I don't know to whom you're addressing this question, but I'm an Orthodox Christian (one of the original churches founded by the apostles and not a do-it-yourself church post-Reformation). We don't tithe, but we do make contributions to create a healthy worship community (and keep the lights and heat on). We don't have a "high priest", though we do have a patriarch (bishop), which was a role originally held by the apostle James and which is detailed throughout the epistles, but particularly in Acts, Phillipians, Titus 1:5-11 and 1 Timothy 3:2-7.

I think anyone who studies the Bible book of Romans carefully, without a preconceived idea that the Decalogue is no longer binding, will be lead to see that the 10 commandments brought down mount Sinai in two tablets as described in Exodus are still and will always remain as a guide to life to tell us of our sin and the need for Christ's sacrifice and for us to abide by with the help of Christ. The New Covenant includes the importance to keep these 10 commandments. If we are in Christ we will be striving moment by moment with Christ help to keep both the letter and the spirit of these 10 commands. This is the process by which we become sanctified and prepared for eternity with Christ and all the saved. Jesus said, "If you love me keep my commandments". If we do love Him we will want to keep the 10 commandments, not so that we earn salvation, but because we have been given salvation by the grace of God.

Christ knew 6 of the ten commandments according to the new testament, why should you know anymore? because becoming intelligent is the down fall of all religions.

the Bible says... to not add or take away from the Word.
When it does say something completely different in the New Testiment - The New Testiment is what you follow.
But you don't get rid of the Old Testiment.
We are the ones that divided the Bible up into sections and ordered it in the way we did.
