Sounds like it is just a allergic reaction ... my frist baby did the same thing.

The best thing I found to get rid of the rash (your gonna laugh ... but my grandmother showed me) is to sprinkle corn starch on her bottom and then put her diaper on loosely. Also do not use wets wipes if her bottom is irritated because most of them have fragrence/soap in them and it just causes the area to become more irritated. Instead get a WARM rag and use that .... the warmth will help to sooth the pain for a lil while and it is pure (no chemicals or fragrence). It also helps to rub her bottom down with vasaline until the rash is gone because it serves as a moisture barrier and the more moisture that gets on the rash the worse it is going to get.

But the best thing to do is when you are at home ... let her lay/sit on a fluffy towel with no diaper ... the air will dry it up quicker then anything.

If it does not go away or seems to get worse you can always call the DR and have him give you some med for it (RX strength diaper rash ointment .... I have had to buy it many times).

As far as the cheaper diaper solution: I haven't had any problems with the White Cloud, but believe it or not my favorite brand of diapers (I have tried them all!) is the Walmart Parent's Choice brand. They are super cheap but really absorbent and I haven't had as many leaks since I have been using them. Only problem is they don't come in Newborn size (start at Size 1) and they were too big for my preemie for a while.
Try using Triple Paste diaper rash ointment to treat the rash. Also try using a damp washcloth to clean up your baby at each diaper change- wipes can irritate a really bad diaper rash. Good luck!

I used white cloud on my son and he got a really bad red rash on his bottom. I didnt think that it was the diapers so I kept using them and eventually it turned in to a big blister. I started using pampers and the rash went away. From then on I only used pampers or cloth diapers. My babies butt was more important the the money issues we had at the time.

A lot of babies have allergic reactions to different diaper brands. White Cloud is my cousin's favroite brand, yet my friends babies get irritated from them. My other friend has babies that cant handle anything but huggies supreme without getting red and irritated.

Theres not a whole lot else you can do except air her own and not use them again.

It may be an allergic reaction. I use Pampers Cruisers but my brother and sister-in-law use the White Cloud, they don't have any problems (but my niece has always used them). If you haven't tried Triple Paste, please do. It's the best thing ever for redness/ diaper rash!

That is what I used on my son when he was born.. but he did fine on them. I think I used them all. LOL. I found I like huggies the best.. do not recall a break out with those. I noticed that target brand did give him dry skin so I did not use them often.. they were put in the car as backups. Get you some boudreaux's butt paste and that should help clear up the red. Good luck.

I have used White Cloud and I had no problems with them, but every baby is different. Maybe try another store brand if money is tight, just because they did not work doesn't mean another cheap brand won't. Good luck!

let her air out. are the type perfumed? i bought those for my son but unscented or whatever and had no problem. apply a light diaper rash cream or a lil vasaline. shell be fine, but those diapers might be too strong for u. scent wise. their skin is very sensative.

See with my seven kids, they were all opposite, i could only use white clouds. I would try putting so destin on her and try keeping her as dry as possible. If it continues, than you may have to switch back. good luck
