I've been an adult and on my own for 45 years now, and my impression about "life" is that every aspect of it is challenging. You just have to work hard and overcome adversity on a daily basis just to get and keep the things you treasure...job, family, freinds, home, health, etc.

The world isn't constructed around me, not designed to fulfill my needs, and I'm not the center of the universe. I'm here in the world, but on my own. So with all the stuff happening out there, a lot of it will not go my way. Those are the bad times. Other times, I get lucky, or the things I try so hard to do actually work. Those are the good times.

That's really the way it is...it takes all the knowledge, skill, experience, motivation, character strength, support and resources you can muster to make something happen for you. The smart money is to be a lifelong learner, heavy into self-improvement...and be willing to work hard, make sacrifices, and take some chances. Good luck!

life is life. know matter how hard you try, you can't make life easier. before i returned to college this semester, i found out that a friend's brother has cancer. about a month after classes started, i learned that my brother's friend has cancer as well. the news on both guys was pretty hard. my brother's friend has known me for most of my life and i've known my friend's brother for most of his life. that was the bad times.the difference between the good and the bad times is that the bad times makes some one stronger and the good times make some one want to remember the laughs, the births of nieces/nephews/kids/grandkids.

Remember the ornament which your wife or fiance wears and which you admire the most, has gone through several torturing process before it could be admired by you.

You may be gold but you are loved and admired only when you become an ornament.
And for that you have to go through hard times as well.

Life's a learning experience.
Learning how to handle bad times comes in handy later when you come across someone who can use the wisdom you have gained.

Don't look at it as a negative thing, you're in training!
