You've got a spambot.

First thing, run Spybot (available from http://www.safer-networking.org/ ). Download it, install it, upgrade it, then run it. There is a Paypal link for donations. Give them a buck or two, as it is worth it. When Spybot asks you if you want to get rid of all the bots, say yes. Also use the "Immunize" option. Use this tool at least once a week and don't forget to update.

Next, in Internet Explorer go to the Tools pulldown menu. Select Internet Options... This will take you to the General tab. Change the home page of wherever the spambot put it to something else. I use MSN's homepage because that was the original default. You can use Yahoo, or whatever floats your boat. When you've entered the new home page, move your cursor to the bottom right and select the Apply button. Only then do you select OK.

That should fix you.
