Because I went to the EB Games store near my house in Huntington Beach and there's a sign on the window saying "We are sorry we are not able to give cash back for used games/DVDs....."

Why is that?

it happened not to long ago and it is because they were losing money by purchasing games and not being able to sell them as quickly as they thought.

Thats just how they have decided to work. I do not agree with it and I really REALLY do not agree with used games being 55 and new ones 60. That just ruins the point? Maybe if they were more reasonable with used game prices they would sell quicker and they could give you cash trade ins. Thats greed for ya.

I do not know, I still trade them in, but I guess I do not ask for cash back just a new used game

I'm pretty sure that's just that one store located near your house. But I would suggest selling them on eBay anyway. You'd get ALOT more for them on there. ALOT more!
