I answered this already but somehow you posted again. but here it goes.
Yes it matters they are a precious life. But you have to UNDERSTAND why we have a military. To protect our nation and ALL that live legally in this nation from outside forces that would hinder our everyday life.
This is why we are at WAR!! For some unknown reason there is a group of people in the middle eastern region that would love to KILL every single amercian out there. Hence why we have military personal over there so they dont do ANOTHER 9-11. When we have a presidential change i would hope that the new president can see this and not PULL OUR MILITARY. If that Happens then we can expect ANOTHER ATTACK on USA SOIL.
There are people in our great nation that have FORGOTTEN THIS LESSON!!!

of course it matters. Anytime a person dies soldier or otherwise it is a tragic event. But if it is time for my husband (a soldier)to die, I would rather it was done honorably by defending his family and country, then to die a cowards death. Anybody who sits online and complains about the war instead of defending their country is just that a coward.

It does matter when they die for a cause to save their own country.
But when they enter into the boundaries of another independent country and kill their innocent civilian population, it really does not matter much except for the loved ones of the deceased soldiers.
Ask America/Bush to get their soldiers back from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Of course it matters when you have a family member die in a war or anyone die in a war. We send our soldiers into harm's way and they deserve our appreciation and respect.
Even if you don't agree with the government for sending them, respect the people who give up their tomorrows for our today.

A soldier risk his life for the cause of nation irrespective of his views. His death is honorable death. This is the highest degree of sacrifice which a man can give. Therefore, he deserves highest respect.

I hope you support your local police force and you should since it is one of the main reasons you are secure in your home.
You must surely support your State Police forces since they extend that security State-wide.
Your nation's military forces extend that security across the entire nation by protecting us from outside dangers.
If a soldier ( or policeman ) dies in the performance of his duties, it matters to everyone, local, state or national because the death is offered through that person's loyalty to all of us.
There will always be forces that want to harm us and deprive us of our freedom and properties. Our police and military are our protection and the honorable men and women who have offered to endure the dangers involved in our protection deserve our respect.

Some questions are so ridiculous they aren't worth an intelligent response.
Does it matter that you get to live in a free country that soldiers died fighting for?????????

I matters because wars waste lives.
It matters more than unavoidable deaths from accidents or disease or old age because wars are consciously and criminally initiated.
Humanity should be above such stupidity!

Sure it does! Say for instance he's throwing a grenade. If he's killed after he releases it, the grenade explodes on the enemies side. If he's killed before he can release it, his buddies get injured. Just one of many such examples of why the "when" matters.
