What the hell are you talking about? Without the sun the earth would not exist. It is what keeps us from becoming a dead ice ball. Care to add some additional details to clarify what you are asking?

That doesn't make sense.
"How can we prevent our earth from the sun?"
Why would we want to prevent the sun? Without the sun, almost all life would cease to exist.

By covering the entire earth with a kerchief,
A meaningless question.
It is the SUN responsible for the existence of life on earth and without solar energy , we can't imagine what happens.....Nothing will be there on earth...no questions and no answers......as the very life will not be there.
Please ask clearly ,with details, so that we understand what you mean exactly and , then if we know we will try to answer.

I believe I understand your question and would answer it in the following manner. If we were to take away the effects of global warming due to an anthropogenic increase in greenhouse emissions, there would remain according to James Lovelock, author and progenitor of Gaia, a far worse fate awaiting the earth. Permit me to quote from his recent book "The Revenge of Gaia"; "In the very long term, solar warming is a far greater problem for life than our present-day battle with man-made global heating. In about one billion years, and long before the sun's life ends (forecast to be about 5 billion years from now), the heat received by the Earth will be more than two kilowatts per square metre, an increase from today's 1.35 kw/sq metre, which is more than the Gaia we know can stand; she will die from overheating." This is not to suggest we throw up our hands and do nothing about our current problems in managing our bio-sphere but it does put it in a different perspective and if true throws out any concern again about global cooling. There is however nothing the human race can do to prevent the Sun's growing hotter in my opinion.

We can't. Every year the earth moves a little closer to the sun. There's nothing anyone can do.

Brainiac, did you bother to read the question after you typed it? Oh you did! Well... we prevent the Earth with a big umbrella.

Good question.
We should grow more trees so that we can avoid direct heat of Sun + we should protect ozone layer to save ourself from sun's radiation.
