Because chickenhawk cons are great at "fighting" as they hide behind a keyboard. Not so much when it comes to actually putting their own life on the line.

I LOVE being self-employed! I might make a lot less than I otherwise could, but I count success by how FEW people get to tell me what to do, not how MANY dollars I make. I do like having money, though - I've been well off, and not well-off. Generally, I like the first better.
I may well go broke in my current endeavor, but I'm happy.
Sorry to not answer your question, yet again. The exchanges just spurred something in me. I didn't realize at first that the quoted language was not part of the question. I guess I'M the stupid one!
I guess I'd say that there are a lot of argumentative people here, which I think was your point in asking. I HATE questions that ask about personal characteristics of political opponents instead of just addressing the arguments, which is why I understand your "response question." I try to stay out of it.
I might have a question or two, off the beaten path, today - if I have time. Have a good one!

There is no way to objectively measure the number of conservatives on Yahoo vs. liberal participants, at any given time of the day, because no designations exist that are attached to their profiles, to where you can do a computerized tally. You are probably speaking anecdotally.
However, supposing there was a way to measure this phenomenon and more conservatives were indeed answering on this forum during the day time hours, it has to be chalked up to the conservative’s tendency to always have the first say on anything. Many, though not all, are so utterly filled with hubris, that they immediately like to assert their dominance early on, vocalizing their opinions on the day’s events without waiting to see all the news, or to deliberate other people’s opinions.
Everything about them is preemptive. The go to war preemptively, the judge preemptively, and they respond to questions preemptively and without all the facts.

Heh, since it's a beautiful winter wonderland out there on this nice first of March out there, I'm enjoying a morning on Answers. But, generally, I think most people sorta come to the site on their breaks, or evening time... And I'll be the first to admit that if I can't force myself to wake up early(That is why they invented the industrial strength alarm clock!), then nothing's gonna get done, heh.
Anyway, if you want a real answer rather than a ramble... I'm sorry to say I don't know why. I'd hazard a guess, but my two cents are just about out of luck on this one, heh.

There aren't, and yes its stupid. Thanks for lowering yourself to the lowest common denominator.
I rarely agree with your posts, but had come to expect a level of intelligence that I thought was above this.
Heidi, either post my whole answer or do not call me out at all.
This is the entire answer:

I had not noticed this. Some people have jobs whereby they can steal time from their employers on this site. Others are self-employed and have more flex time (me). Others are students. Some are stay-at-home parents.
I doubt many welfare individuals are buying computers or hanging out at the library to answer Politics questions.
And yes, I am a Conservative, but would it kill us to raise the level of intellect around here?

Notice, I did not feel the need to bash one side or the other. Try it.
