If there is a 30 percent chance of snow at midnight, and by 3 am it is a 90 percent chance do you think we will have school tomorrow, if we are supposed to get about 12 inches throughout the day! Do you think we will have school?

Depends on where you live. If you're in an area that doesn't get snow a lot, then there's more of a chance you'll have school. I live in a place that freaks out if we get three inches, and they will close every school in the area.

But if you're in a place where snow is frequent, you never know. It will depend on how bad the roads are. But if it's 12 inches, with a 90 percent chance, and the snow is supposed to coninute throughout the day, I wouldn't count on having school.

Ah, I miss snow days. You don't get them when you have a job in the real world.

The schools in Regina have not been closed because of snow since the 1950's and we get lots of snow. Last night we got about 10 cm. We are to get another 4 - 5 cm today. Even if we have a blizzard the schools stay open. Of course it is the parents discretion whether they send their children BUT if the teachers want to get paid they have to be there!

i live in chicago, so i know how you feel praying for a snow day. it is possible that school could be canceled for tomorrow but that really depends on where you live and how good they are about getting the streets plowed. my high school never called a snow day regardless of the snow but my mom called me out anyways on a few occasions. i would rather go to school, or have school not be cancelled, now than in june when all you want to do is have fun and enjoy the warm weather. that's just a personal opinion. good luck!!

Depends on where you live, and how easy it is for your local government to clear the streets.
