No, if they are not rightfully yours. Otherwise yes if they are your property and you can sell them for the value they are worth to settle debts, if that be the case. Also if you need them in your next job it is worth salvaging them as supplies can be costly to replace.
I'm just reading between the lines as you could not give us more details on the 'absorption' and who's property they are at this time.
