For designers I think matchesfashion.com is amazing and a really gorgeous site or net-a-porter, but everyone goes there, Matches feels a bit more classy.
If you want high street (although I wouldn't call them boutique) Topshop's site is great and ASOS has loads of brilliant stuff.

ASOS, Miss Selfridge, Top Shop, Warehouse, Oasis - I have bought from all of these and haven't had any problems at all.
