I gave my boyfriend my heart and he crushed it and threw in the trash. That happen 3 times with 3 different guys. make that 4 times including the recent one. I am really sad. I am starting to think that I shouldn't let myself be close to anyone anymore. I am scared to even be close to a boyfriend. Why is love painful?

Girl, what happened to you is your fault. No one to blame, no such thing as "love" or mean guys. It was all you. Now, I can see maybe one guy but four??? You should look in the mirror and if you are fat then there is your problem. If you are ugly, then I hope you are rich because you can easily lose weight but ugly takes surgery. Anyway, e-mail me. Amy,all of us do and will experience broken hearted. Right now,all you can see is those man that you got involve with breaking your heart. Stop and look at yourself in the mirror,ask yourself why 3-4 times the men that I got involve with break my heart??......could it be that you are one special person that gives your affection, passion, and attention to your boyfriend?? You sound so romantic and that is a special gift that you must accept.
Now about those looser, its not you that lost something,but them, there are man or boys that can't handle too much affection from a girl, there are some that dream to find a girl that will give them some attention, so you see! right now you are finding the wrong man or boys. Take a break for a bit but never gives up cause one day,he will be out there waiting for you. Don't punish yourself because your with a loosers,ok!! good luck love1

Love is not painful if you find the right guy. You will need counseling to help you get past the pain of all of this and you need to start to heal. Do not give up though and next time be more careful and dont give your heart away to just anyone make them earn it and your trust before doing so the next time. Ive been hurt alot in the past too but i learned to be more careful and wiser with who i learned to trust and now i am happily married to a wonderful guy and i am so happy in my life with him.

You definitely shouldn't until you have acquired enough maturity to be able to pick a better class of guy. You have to admit that you aren't very good at it as of now.
Take some time, grow up a little, this is your life we are talking about, why not take the time to do it right?

u may be giving too much too soon to them, when we have a low self worth we do seem to attract these user types. love is painful when we make the wrong choices, and pick the wrong guy. u have to earn who to choose and who to loose. don't let what happened destroy u, and stop u from seeking love in the future, don't let what happened destroy your self worth. as it was them and not u. choose people who have better character even if they aren't as exciting as the bad guys. u fall in love to quickly and give too much too soon and they loose respect for u and use u for your good heart. choices mean everything, if u pick a looser to begin with, u really have nothing to work with in a relationship.

You shouldn't give up...it hurts like hell cause it is worth the work when you find the one. Don't look at it as a bad thing look at it as a good thing...you have learned something different in each relationship and they are only preparing you for the real thing.
