Say Selma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Halle Berry, Beyonce or Tyra Banks had the same incident.... Multiple baby daddys, drugs so on and so forth. Do you think the media or the ignorant american public would be so interested? It seems that they are immoralizing her and making the woman into something that she not (a saint). Mainstream America does not look kindly on drug use, promiscurity or adultery. But she has done all. What happen to letting the dead die. Have the Amerian views become so one sided that when a White women does things considered immoral she is given a pass in life and in death, but when done by a minority, she is considered a disgrace and used a token for others to make a judgment of the race against as whole. Well any opinons would be nice.

Now understand this is not merely about race, however lets think. Lacy Petereson was killed and pregnant and had some for of wealth, news broadcasted that all over the air waves, months later same incident concerning a middle class pregnant minority in PA now coverage. What I am saying is that it is a trend in main stream America. The lighter the skin the more money the more coverage and simpathy. All I am saying is pay attention. And then respond. Race is always a factor, if people want to admit it or not.

Anna Nicole was in no way given a "pass in life". If you look at the way people viewed her before her death, she was hardly looked at in a nice way. She was constantly made a mockery of by the public and by the media. She was hardly considered a 'saint' by anyone.

The reason why people are so interested is because of the circumstances surrounding her death, her sons death and the ensuing circus with lawsuits by the people who are meant to have cared about her.

Why not look at it, instead of it being a 'race issue' (which is ridiculous by the way) as an unfortunate death which leaves a baby girl without a mother, and no father for certain?

Oh and would you like some salt and vinegar to go with that chip on your shoulder?

You took the words out my mouth. Me and my mother was having a discussion about that last night. Even though its sad that Anna Nicole has died, but its not that serious. I mean what did she do? This is all about money that's why people is paying, and buying her stories. But if it was some one like Lil'kim dying and having a baby and didn't know who the father was, the public would be interested for a little while and let it die. She was married to a billionaire that's why its like that. I'm just so tired of them talking about her and not letting her rest in peace. And about America view's being one-sided to me that is part true. Just like the little ''white'
boys that got kidnapped by that man, it was news coverage everywhere but when them 2 black boys got kidnapped, I didn't even find out about it until I looked in the ''Jet'' magazine and that is sad. America needs to wake up. Its shouldn't be about a race thing but America public should care more about minority stories. But Anna left alot of questions and answers that need to be solved that's why its crazy like that. I hope they find the real daddy of that little girl. She is just to cute.

Anna's death is so big, because her life was, and because she left so many unresolved issues for her family to deal with. I haven't been following the case, but I know the baby is looking for the dad, and they don't know where to bury Anna at. IF she had left a will, there would not be as much to follow right now. The girl stuffed her chest, did a horrible realty show, married a nearly dead millionaire, gained a million pounds then had it sucked out of her(trimspa.. yeah right). she was trash pure and simple, and America loves trash.

i dont think it is a black or white issue i belive if someone that was black died of the same way anna did the media would still act the same because the media allways reports the sad things that happen to people then the good i think if it sales or the top story the media will pick up on it because because of ratings.i dont agree with anna life style but she was a human and she was a mother and it was sad so i would say if this happen to anyone else the media will pick up on it

come on.. u cannot drag out the race card for this..
anyone of the actresses/models that u listed would have just as much attention if the situation were the same.
there has been way to much coverage on anna nicole... but no way can u say its because she was white... that is just a pitiful attempt to try and draw the black/white line.

She was nothing like any of those girls. She did porn and later got a t.v. talk show. And got fat and then skinny again, and never really got money for being with that really, really old rich guy. If she was Oprah and died, we'd already have a holiday in place. Color means nothing here. Its the fact that so many people fantasized about her and then she went on t.v. and got chubby and then skinny again, and never really got all that cash that really made people feel sorry for her, without mentioning the crude sexual stuff she inspired in so many males...

Anna Nicoles story was only big because of all the trahsy things she has done. All of the other actress you have named are huge in popularity and it has nothing to do with their races. It's pretty twisted that you think racism can only come from white people.

Okkkkkkkkkkk........ What about James Brown? He's black and still not burried either and is still in the news. It dont matter the color of the person. Its about the person, what they did, how popular they were. People make over who they want to make over not because of their color because of who they are. I cant believe this is turning into a color thing. Let's not be like this.

Yes. Her life was a train wreck in slow motion. Teen mother, stripper, Sex Goddess, gold digger, reality show mess, druggie son dying, new mother etc. People love that drama. It was entertaining
Now that she is dead, hell even I feel sorry for her.

Oh c'mon! This is one instance where you cannot play the race card! Grow up. And besides that the actresses you mentioned are amazing actresses. Please do not compare them to Anna Nicole.
