...The installer says 25 and 30 inches between the table top and the bottom of the chandelier...I can't decide. What do you suggest???

I think 30 inches would be better. If the light is too close to the table you make think you are getting better lighting but, you actually will get more shadows. The light will flood a greater area with less drastic light and better results at 30 inches.

Just my personal preference.

Mine is actually more like 36 inches, but it's not a formal setting

My "chandelier" curves to the right, if you know what I mean.

make sure it isn't where you;ll be bumpin your head, my mother in laws is too low, i'm always smackin my head on it, i hate it.

If it's high to swing off it, then you know its high enough
