I really like the Daily Show much better than the Colbert Report. I somehow don't really enjoy Colbert very much. I loved his blistering attack on Bush at the correspondent's meeting, that was awesome... but somehow I can't take too much of him. I much prefer Jon Stewart who is more natural and funny, also the Daily Show is way more interesting.

Anyone else agree?

Personally, I like Colbert more because he covers many of the same things in a more sarcastically funny way. Dont get me wrong, Jon Stewart is great, hilarious guy, and the one to really get the politically incorrect politics show theme going, but I thought Colbert was the funniest guy on the Daily Show when he was there. I dont like to have to pick, those guys still talk and feature each other on their shows, I just personally like Colbert more. I think I like the format of the Daily Show more, however, because of all the correspondants who just make that show ridiculously hilarious.

Its a close race, but my indecision has to go with Colbert.

Colbert Report! Jon Stewart's getting too old. Even though the Colbert Report is a spoof of "The O'Reilly Factor" & Steven Colbert is lampooning most conservative TV & radio hosts, including O'Reilly, it's just LOL funnier than the Daily Show. However, both shows blur news & comedy. You're not getting a balanced view of news when most liberal politicians are using these shows as soapboxes. However, Clinton played sax on Arsenio Hall & John McCain just announced on David Letteman last night he's running for President again. The line between entertainment, news & politics blurred long ago, thanks to Murphy Brown!

The Colbert checklist. The daily teach is various forced humor i think of on a similar time as you may desire to be responsive to a minimum of something with regard to the information to get a kick out of the Colbert checklist. Plus, Stephen Colbert is remarkable

To me, they are always tied together since I am so used to seeing Stewart and Colbert together. I find myself watching the Daily Show more often, but when I am in the mood for Colbert I always end up LMAO. So, since I don't have to make a choice, I won't. :-)

Colbert does have his good moments, but he gets annoying after a while. Jon Stewart rocks!

I think Colbert covers more news, but in such an over-the-top style that it gets lost. Except for Tonight's Word, that is as hilarious as it is thought provoking.
Stewart has fewer topics but delivers a dryer approach.

I love both shows. It is nice to see humor used in a political sense. Also both shows also use some newsclips, so people get news and comedy in the same show.

They’re both excellent. They have different styles and different approaches to applying satire and comedy to the news. It is impossible for me as a viewer to choose between them and ultimately not necessary.
