I type all day long as an audio typist and in one ear, I have playing the dictation and then in the other ear, I have my radio on via a set of headphones. I wonder if anyone finds this weird or in fact a good thing? I have a feeling people think this is strange. In other words, my left ear plays dictation and the other a radio. What do you think?
I think people think I'm weird, but I'm happily doing my work!!

Hey if you can handle it, then that's fine. It does sound like it could interfere with your work.

I get the feeling you're hoping everyone will be really impressed at your multi-tasking.

But yes, listening to music or a radio is very helpful when you have a dull job that only takes up a small amount of your attention.

That's a good idea,it's cool that you can listen to music and listen to dictation at the same time.It probably makes the work day go by faster.

I don't thinki it is strange. You obviously are able to divert your attention well. If it works for you, then keep doing it!
