apologies for unclear question the magsine 2000ad has been aorund for 30 years as of this week. I was wondering what people's fondest emeories of it were, and the role it played as they grew up with it.Mainly though what were your favourate stories, outside of Judge Dreed rocks, or strontium dog rules. hope that is better

Well, Judge Dredd has always been one of my faves. And so is Strontium Dog. I always hoped they would do something daring, like a crossover romance between Judge Anderson and Johnny Alpha. It would be love at first sight and they could always read each other’s mind and tell that they truly loved each other.

Zenith is good. Robo hunter was funny! And the mutants from Strontium Dog were the best. Middenface McNulty takes the cake for the best all time match of name and appearance. I liked the Judge Death series, the Angel Gang series, the Judge Child series, Judge Cal, the Armageddon Wars, there are so many good ones. Rogue Trooper was a good one, especially Venus. Harry 20 on the high rock. Halo Jones. Pointy headed Ace. And of course, Tharg.

Thanks for the memories, man!

I used to collect 2000ad, but had to give them up due to sheer lack of space (I had 1- 1100), Judge Dredd is the best thing to come out of 2000ad (even though he didnt appear until issue 2), my other favourites include:
Strontium Dog
Rogue Trooper
Slaine
D.R. & Quinch
ABC Warriors
Ro-Busters
Sam Slade: Robohunter

Happy 30th Birthday to 2000ad

I've got the first 13 years worth in a box at my mum's. I loved Dr & Quince and Slaine is my hero. Stallone as Dredd was a low point.
