I'm into musicals, so it was great for me. Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson did a great job in acting, but Jennifer Hudson voice was on a totally different league then Beyonce.
Overall great movie

Went to see it on Sunday afternoon and Jennifer Hudson really deserved that oscar in my opinion. I found parts of the story really lame, but overall there were some really excellent performances from all cast members. I really liked the montage bits with deena when she was breaking up from the group, although I thought the magazine 'cover shots' resembled the ones Diana Ross did when she broke up with the supremes a bit too much. ( though I'm guessing that was the point). yeah I liked it a lot. Some of the music didn't live up to expectations, though I found myself singing along to the nominated songs whilst watching the oscars telecast.

Great movie, great actors, music def over the top. alot of ppl weren't feelin the whole musical thing, but i think that's what made it. as far as the Jennifer and Beyonce thing, i believe there are diff types of singers and i cant really say one is better then the other b/c both have diff styles and that's what makes them the best at what they do.

I think its very inspirational it brings out the best in anybody.loved Beyonce and Jamie Foxx ,music was fab .

I think everyone played their character well..i forgot for a minute that Jamie fox was a comedian..as well as eddie murphy..he was hallarious..Beyonce was good too..her character was somewhat afraid to come out of her shell..jennifer hudson did an awesome job for a first timer..and she deserved the awards she recieved..

It S U C K E D and Jennifer Hudson can't act her way out of a
paper bag. Everyone is so overrating this movie and that American Idol reject.
