I have never watched this show, but just seeing the commercials is enough for me. I am disgusted to see those women, even though I'll say they have good figures, dressing trhe way they do. I think they are being exploited. Where's the Women Libbers to protest? I haven't heard of any. Why don't those men dancers dance in Speedos??? Feedback, please...Thank you.

Sex is not a job it is extracurricular and entertainment. There is more to them than just speedos right? We cant see every side to a diamond in a one hour moronic entertaining program.

I didn't watch the show the first season because it seemed trivial and a waste of time.
But I have to admit, I tuned in at the beginning of season two and I was hooked!
I think it's because you get to live vicariously through the stars doing something incredibly difficult, way out of their comfort zone, in front of an audience no less!
I think that most of us have something that we'd love to try or wish we could do but are unable to.Seeing someone else accomplish their goal is satisfying. That's why people have such love affairs with sports!
As for the costumes- look at the beautiful dance competitions on public television- those woman are showing plenty of skin and are incredibly talented and elegant. They also train hours each day to get in the shape needed to do this dancing. Besides, no one is holding a gun to a celebrity's head and telling her she must dance! It's a challenge!
Watch Dancing with the Stars. And don't be so serious!

Quite frankly I thought here might be some merit to the show except that when I heard the dancers speak i was Totally turned off...... Nothing more awful than a scathing, back biting, cat like and bitchy woman......I saw this in more than one, and excuse me, but anyone can dance....thee women were sadly pathetic..and seemingly very narcissistic.....this is MY feeling and I am sure there are people who don't notice as they are caught up in the luster of the show.....pretty from afar and terribly ugly up close.....sad ...and I will Never watch it again.....I hate it now on account of their attitudes to win or want to kill the other contestants...of course this is my take but don't even cross me, i stand firm on this...it is as stupid as cheer leading with the same mentality.

i love that show. some costumes are a little on the small side, but most are ok. the costumes for the waltz and dances like that are usually floor length. i usually don't pay attention to the costumes, i pay attention to the dances because towards the middle and end of the season the celebs get really good. you should give the show a chance and try to see the dances more than the costumes.

I'm with you. Why can't the women put on some jeans and sweaters? Why does the woman have to show skin in order to boost ratings? I'm not into dancing either.
What's wrong with that Mario Lopez, anyway? Before the ink is even dry on the marriage license, the kid is cheating.

Protest about what? Try watching the show. It's very entertaining. Nothing wrong with the way the female dancers dress.

I watched the first season and liked it except the dancing got so sensual it was embarrassing so to those of you who would say, "don't watch" I no longer do and regr et it as I love dancing and loved watching except for that that I mentioned.
I enjoyed, like others, how many get out of their comfort zones to learn to do what they do-remarkable.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Women's lib isn't about making women dress a certain way. If you don't like it, don't watch. Personally, I like it and I wish it were on a different time slot so I could see it more often.

I like the show because you get to see some great dancers, but there can only be one winner, so it's not like their getting exploided or anything.

OMGd... what is with all of the people who are sooo prudish??? so what if they want to do that??? worse things go on everyday!! get over it!! and don't watch the show either!! Just zone it out!!!
