What would you do if you won the lottery or inherited a windfall?

First i would pass-out, then once awake i would pay off everything i owe and help family, friends, poor and the less fortunate.

I would buy a large piece of land - where there are a lot of colleges, such as upstate NY. I would then build on this land -dwellings for people. I would create a criteria for those people, I would then go to the Bronx homeless shelter where people are living on the floors, and ask if they wanted to sign up and go through our screening process to get a 4-year college education.

Once all criteria is met, I would have them move to this place i built, send them to school, pay for their furniture, clothing, food for 4-years so that they could live in a non-threatening environment and get an education.

This will afford them opportunities for employment they would never have had. They hopefully will become self-sufficient in a 5 year time.

Then I would keep doing that and go public asking for donations for this cause. The more educated people are, the better their lifestyles (healthcare, employment, etc.)

I'd first tithe and pay Uncle Sam. Then I would help my family pay off any bills that they have. I would buy a dying town and rejuvenate it by building ranch or split level homes and have a bandstand in the middle of the downtown area where you could have summer concerts. I would sell the homes only to fire/rescue workers, policeman, and the disabled vets coming home from Iraq. The demographics would be 25% Black, 25% White, 25% Asian and 25% Hispanics. I would help those less fortunate then myself because I already have all I need.
