There was a scene where Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity went to see the Merrill Vinci and the Merrill Vinci talked about cause and effect and the movie showed a woman across the room being served a chocolate cake and once she ate the first bite she had to leave to go to the bathroom. What was that all about? What was going on with that woman? And the movie showed the camera going between the woman's legs and there was an explosion. What was that all about?

He uses the woman to show how he can use a program to induce a reaction (in this case an orgasm) from another. Action, reaction. She eats the cake, it arouses her sexually.
