Congratulations on being a new mom and making the decision to breastfeed!
You should be just fine drinking tea, especially a caffeine free tea, while breastfeeding.

That's fine. There really are no specific foods that you need to avoid while nursing. You can even have a glass of wine or beer with your dinner.....you just need to wait about 2 hours afterwards to nurse again. Caffeine is also FINE....no more than five 5-oz cups of coffee, for example.

Yes you can drink tea while breastfeeding. My doctors new I was drinking coffee while breastfeeding, and all they told me was to make sure I was drinking plenty of water, because even small amounts of caffeine will dehydrate you, and cause your milk supply to dry up..Good luck with your new little one.

i does no longer water down the breastmilk oftentimes, yet, some mum and dad supply their toddler a sip or 2 of water at this age. might it extremely be any distinctive? additionally, at 4 months, you'll be able to supply your toddler cereal and combine it with water quite than breastmilk. the toddler may well be getting water then, too. i might say no greater desirable than an oz. or 2 at maximum as quickly as an afternoon for an extremely constrained term. Fenugreek works great. I took 3, thrice an afternoon and it wasn't extremely adequate. i mandatory to take greater like 4, thrice an afternoon. you're meant to sniff like maple syrup once you have adequate on your gadget. It takes between a million - 3 days to be certain your milk production bypass up. i grow to be waiting to stop taking it as quickly as my supply grow to be up and it remained an sufficient quantity. How do you experience approximately beginning him on cereal now? that should bridge the version between his starvation and your supply. I completely comprehend desiring to no longer supply formulation. My first by no potential touched the stuff. I had scientific themes with my 2nd, and she or he used it from 10 weeks on (I cried for months questioning I had failed. We later found out she had maximum cancers - a tumor in her chest grow to be struggling with her from eating on her section - she is doing great now.). My third (2.5 months) used some from some weeks till a million.5 months. I had unfavorable mastitis, bloody milk, undesirable latching issues, etc. Even pumping grow to be excruciating (and my milk grow to be purple!)...and my breastmilk made her scream (the antibiotics, in line with danger?). Fenugreek helped me reestablish my supply as quickly as the mastitis resolved and she or he's now off formulation! i'm SO happy with that! solid success and God Bless!
