I had one done at 24 weeks and it wasn't as good as I had expected, now I am 28 weeks and am getting one done again tomorrow, has anyone had one done at 28 weeks and been able to see the baby's feature perfectly?

With my first daughter, I had a 3d/4d ultrasound at 28 weeks and the pictures were perfect! Check out one of them at the link below...

I got my 3d done right in between my 28th and 29th weeks and OH MY GOD it was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed. I got it on video because it blew me away completely. And when my baby was born, it shouldn't have surprised me, but it did: I already knew his face! It was so detailed and so amazing. This time around (we're 14 weeks now, I found your question while googling 3d sono pics!), I will absolutely do everything I can to have the sono be at the exact same time-28 weeks. Keep in mind that the quality of it can also be determined by the quality of the equipment used and the sonographer themselves. Good luck to you!!! Its going to be amazing!

Yes I had one just a few weeks ago. I'm 30 weeks now. My suggestion would be to wait until your 30-31 weeks. Although we could see her, she was still "filling out". Also, she had lots of room then and would not stay still. I would suggest waiting, you'll have a great picture if you wait just a few more weeks. I"m going back next week for more pics. Good luck!

No. I never had a 3D ultrasound. I did, however, have regular ultrasounds at every appointment. It was really neat to see how my baby was growing and developing. The 3D ultrasounds look awesome, but I've heard that they can be really expensive and insurance may not cover them.

My sons features were so clear you saw him sucking his thumb and the infamous nose his dad has they were identical. Try not to drink or eat anything and it will become clearer along with peeing before the sonogram NEVER drink orange juice it will be extremely foggy with no outlook. Also the 3d really shows you the true him he will look like that when he is born no lie!

yes at this time the features of the baby can be seen perfectly,u will be able to see its veins under the skin very easily

well i did't have a 3 d but i was about 30 week 2 days when i had a regular us and i'll tell you with today's technology it was like a 3d one! they had a new machine and i could see everything! te way his lips were shaped and everything it was awesome

I was 29wks and you could see his little face good. He was bent in half.. his feet were on his head.. and his hand was near his mouth. But I could see his features.. he looks like my 1st son alot. These are so neat.. good luck.
