When I was a lot younger my Dad took me and my older sister out for a bike ride up the river. On the way back my chain snapped, so Dad had to use a length of rope to tow me the rest of the way. Older sis got a bit narky at this and clipped my back wheel, my bike went over and my Dad towed me a good 10 meters up a gritty, stony riverbank on my side. my Mum spent the best part of an hour with a pair of tweezers and a bottle of Dettol picking out little bits of grit from my leg and arm.

I didnt actually fall. It was back in the days that I never use to wear shoes when I went outside to play and I decided one day to go for a ride bare foot. My foot slipped off the pedal and well I tore the skin completly of the bottom of my big toe. Very painful. You would think that a kid would wear shoes after something like this, however my stubborn irish blood 3 weeks later I was out barefooted again.

I was freewheeling so fast downhill, that my brakes didnt work. My brother was sitting behind me, and he put his feet down... I slammed face first into a tree, and then on the back of my skull. I broke my arm.My brother lost half his ear, and broke his leg. For the next few months, whoever would see us, would say" someones been to war!"That happened when I was 9 and my bother was 8.I was never allowed to have a bike again, I got really fat and depressed, and It could be the underlying reason I had a stroke at 29, which caused my vermis to atrophy. Im still learning how to walk.

I don't remember my most painful fall, but i remember mmy little sisters. We had just reached the end of our street when she fell and knocked out a tooth. She ran home while i searched for the tooth, found it, put it in my pocket than tried to manage to get home with 2 bikes. I was probably about 10ish, LOL i'll never forget that.
