No you should not have a problem if you use different makeup brands on your face. If you do notice a problem area on your face stop using that product right away and if it goes away, then you know that it is that make up line that is not suitable for your skin. Even if the problem is your foundation seems to make you skin feel like an oil slick just after a couple of hours, the ingredients in that particular foundation are definitely not suitable for your skin type.

Wearing different brands together is fine. Most people wear two or more brands of makeup at one time. Even celebrities do this all the time. There is no reason that two products being of a different brand would hurt your skin. You can even mix a different brand foundation with a concealer of another brand.

The different brands will probably tell you it will because they want you to buy exclusively from them. Just make sure that your skin doesn't react badly to any of the brands you are using, and you will be fine. Most brands use pretty much the same ingredients anyways...they may have different names, but I would imagine there are only so many different things you can use to make a pressed powder. I mix brands all the time because I think each line has good products and bad ones, and I want the best from each one...its never caused any problems for me, and I have pretty sensitve skin.

Definitely yes. My only rule of thumb is stay within the same types and family of colors of complexions. Oily, natural, dry. Cool, Warm. Sensitive, etc. Many times the price is not an indication of how good the product is. You have to keep up with product reviews and go to the stores and personally get samples and get their free make overs just to see how your skin reacts. I use all different brand and price ranges. I do have a favorite foundation. By the way, some lines and companies do have a habit of constant renaming and/or dropping "your" favorite colors. Try to keep color samples of some kind.

Different people have different skin types.
Some people's skin is more sensitive than the other.
They will know it themselves.

Well,
It's okay to mix your make-up brands or even skin care brands.
As long as there's no side effects, eg. irritations or break-outs.

I do mix my make-up and skin care brands.
Just have to take note of the ingredients in the product and look out for side effects.
=)

I can't see why it would unless they textures don't go together. I mix foundations from different brands and they work great together.

you can. there is no law about sticking to a brand. for example, a certain brand could have an awesome eyeshadow but a horrible lipstick... hope this clears things up.
