Don`t muslims become solicitors themselves i the UK? I find that hard to believe. Here in Norway we have quite a few muslim well educated and experienced solicitors, appearing in court and on tv every day, speaking for their own people. Or did you mean something completely different - probably having to do with 9/11, maybe. Well then you can`t really blame those who hesitate. Unforunatelly, thats how the world looks today. Let us all pray for better times.

I am a solicitor and have never been approached by a Muslim. I would treat them as I would everyone else, a person first and then a customer second. We are professionals operating a business after all.
I suspect that you are frustrated with the human rights issues that have not been resolved. Freedom to do what you wish and freedom to be protected from those that infringe these rights are in a constant conflict, resolving them in a positive manner is perhaps the best result possible.
And for the record, I do not feel that I have failed UK muslims in any way and as a UK solicitor I would prefer not to be categorised in such a way.

That is an Grossly unfair Slur on the Legal Profession ----- what do Muslims expect ? Automatic Victory in every one of their Cases -- Lets face it - They expect preferential treatment in everything else they get involved in or they get "Offended" and the Cry is usually "Racism" -- Even when Dudley Council Democratically refused Planning Permission for yet another "Large Mosque " the Cry was "Racism" against Dudley Council -- A Bloody Outrage --- We will soon have more Mosques and so called Islamic Centres than we have Pubs -- Whinging ,Whining and Complaining 24/7 Enough is surely Enough

I know this is most definitely not true. There are a considerable number of Muslim Solicitors, indeed whole practices of Muslim solicitors.
If you think that you or someone you know has been poorly represented, apply to the law society for a review of the case.

The agency of solicitors (and the insurance company) will argue that presented a different solicitor is representing each and every social gathering then the conflict of interest has been prevented.

I don't believe in the Muslim religion, but it seems I will be better off with a Muslim solicitor. Because of a book of a serious nature, some members of the police and community have an opportunity to stop me selling books door-to-door; These are books which I wrote. I sold a copy of this book to a household over a year ago; I called back and was assaulted; I defended myself, I called the police, but as usual, the police arrested me. Police officers have, in the past, told me they are greater than God because they can arrest me and stop me selling my books on the door. They have often tried to wind me up. IF THIS CASE GOES TO COURT, IT WILL NOT BE ABOUT WHETHER I USED UNREASONABLE FORCE OR NOT, BUT WHETHER GOD REALLY EXISTS, SINCE NO GOD WOULD ALLOW SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO PROTECT HIS CREATION (THE ENVIRONMENT) TO BE PUT INTO PRISON ... DON'T MAKE SENSE SINCE WE ARE ALREADY RUNNING OUT OF TIME. A GOOD WORD WILL DAVE THE DAY, ON THIS, SAINT MICHAEL'S DAY!

Well said Smurf, my sentiments exactly, the question provider should check his-her facts before accusations of mis-representation, could be construed as slander.

Who, where, when, eh? I'm sure you must have some reason for asking that, but it just sounds like an offensive generalisation to me.
