I need good plot ideas as well...i am no good at making a novel from start to finish, i run out of ideas because i have no main focus, no main conflict that lasts throughout the story

Not to be rude, but if you can't come up with your own ideas, then why are you writing a novel? I can recommend the forums at nanowrimo.org as a good spot. They can offer ideas and opinions and help if you get stuck.

How about the name "Charon"? Yes, its a moon, and its also pulled out of mythology (the guy with the boat on the river Styxx), but I think that adds to the mystique :)

you can just make up names.read the darren shan saga and perharps google vampire names.
