There is no doubt that David Beckham should return to the England squad. He has recently returned to the Real Madrid first team and has put in some great performances - Scoring a great free-kick on his first game back. Becks nearly always gives his all, and definatly deserves to be handed a chance to be back in the England squad.

Of course David Beckham should be placed back on the England squad. There are so many reasons why.

1. Not only was David Beckham the captain for England, he has played at 2 of the most elite clubs in the world. He has played with the greatest players that history has to offer. If anything, Becks could teach the young players for England how to be better players.

2. To say Becks is washed up is absurd. His recent form for Real Madrid should shut up any negative critics. He is the reason that Real have one there last few games that he has played. Anytime he has been on the pitch he has created opportunities for his teammates to score.

3. "Becks has lost his pace." <----HAHAHAHAHA, yeah he was a natural quarter horse to start with. Come on people, why the hell does he need to be the fastest player out there. He never has been fast, however, he can kick the ball 60+ yards and hit a dime.

4. And lastly, England is getting there asses kicked. They need Becks. He is a natural born leader and i am sure John Terry wouldn't mind a little help breaking in the youngsters.

ultimately whilst it comes all the way down to it, the coach is the coach.. If he feels that Beckham will convey something to the gang, then so be it. Why shouldn't he be allowed to return returned. What, because of the fact he's going to play interior u.s.? Or is it because of the fact the coach extra or much less kicked him off the gang to start with. How is this any different then the gamers we've here interior the states that don't play club here, yet play in yet another united states and are allowed to return returned here and characterize our united states. Regardless, soccer right now isn't like it became returned then. Coaches will do even though it takes to win the sport. I'm sure Beckham will play for the England team if Steve McClaren picks him to join the team.

This is what Beckham said in an interview:

Beckham himself is still holding out hope for an England recall. "My ambition has never changed since the age of 13, I always wanted to play for my country," he said. "I'll always be available whether I'm in Spain or whether I'm in LA."

Beckham was brought to Southern California in the hopes of building a sports fan base attracting Hispanics. Please, let us have him for about 2 years and then we'll see if it will work for England.
