The kids are the excuse....a few times Yahoo is the real reason. Which isn't really false...just that I was here too long and shorted my time getting the kids ready...

My personal favourite is blaming public transport. No one ever questions it because the London Underground is normally pretty crap anyway.
the truth normall has something to do with either one of my kids losing their trainers. I bought a shoe rack to try and alleviate the problem, but they seem to be blissfully ignorant of it's presence.
