how should I understand the phrase "purity in business" or "purity of the last two months"???

if you ask me, it means that you are always being corrupted by something new. therefore you were better 2 months ago than you were at the present time

its because there is no purity in business. its the same bacstabing self promoting cess pit for most of your stay. then, just as you are about to leave, you say, 'whats the point?' and then you become the pure politician till the end.
simple, no?
