Some people get all worked up because of the hype around the milestone of 30. For some it's because they feel it means they will have to give up certain things, expected to act more mature and they feel the pressure of personal accomplishment.

You have the right attitude. It's just another birthday. You are who you are whether you are 28, 38 or 48. What's important is how you think, feel and act. Act young, stay young.

My favorite saying is; "You only live once. If you do it right, once is enough." Enjoy your life at all ages!

Happy Birthday!

Good for you, you should be relaxed about it. I have found that getting older is actually kind of freeing. You begin to see what's really important in life and the small stuff just doesn't get you like it used to. I also think you become more comfortable with who you are as a person. Turning 30 is great and nothing to fear. Life keeps getting better.

Not scary at all...

I was a bit scared but I got over it!!!
Im in early 30's and if anything I feel more chilled than my 20's..its a state of mind..my mother turns 60 today, she genuinely looks 45 maximum.

Its the type of person someone is, not what age they are.

You'll enjoy your 30's I bet..

I was nervous about turning 30 because there is so much emphasis put on being in your twenties. Somehow it just sounded more desirable to be in your twenties.
When I actually turned thirty I wasn't too phased by it. People who are not comfortable in their lives progression probably worry more.
Happy Early Birthday and Best of Luck To You

I am 30 now and it is not a big deal. My friends constantly remind me that I am getting older, but I maintain the attitude that I am celebrating anniversaries of my 25th birthday and I am only on my 5th anniversary so I am ok.

Remember it is no big deal.
