Apparently, Kelly Clarkson is the main former Idol contestant to not want to claim anything to do with Idol because (supposedly) she doesn't think it was that good for her and she would have made it on her own anyway. I say she is an ungrateful and annoying b**** that wouldn't be half the so called singer she is today if it weren't for her start on Idol. What is your opinion?

I honestly think that American Idol helped her gain recognition and majority of her fan base.
Does she think her album would have sold as much if she hadn't been on American Idol?
Sure, she'd be a good singer but would she be as famous if she wasn't on there?

She's just a B*TCH. Now she won't let anyone on American Idol sing any of her songs.Maybe someone will sing it better then she does. Who knows. I don't think she could have done it on her own without American Idol.

well i agreee with you!!! but i honestly dont think she should have ever one!! i think she sucks and i dont think she can sing...she would have never made it with idol and she would have NEVER made it on her own....shes not that talented..she cant sing she cant dance and shes an ungrateful *****!!!!! who should get over herself and just stop acting like shes some chick who has all the power in the world to do everything on her own....SHE SHOULD JUST STOP SINGING!!! then the world would be a better place... ;)

I agree that she should be grateful for the opportunity she got from being on the show but lets not kid ourselves, the show benefited from her being on it just as much. Not to mention all the verbal abuse she took from Simon Cowell when she was on. I think its a good stepping stone but I don't blame her at all for not wanting to be associated with it any longer.
