Sex is meant to create babies, if your not ready to have a baby then you are not ready to have sex. But nevertheless you will probably still have sex, so get your gf on the pill or depo provera shot or something. And on top of that use a condom (STDS) That should do the trick.

The only way to be 100% sure that she will not get pregnant is to not have sex. The choice to have sex brings along with it risk of pregnancy, STDs, and emotional issues. That being said, obviously most people at some point in their lives accept these risks and become sexually active. If you are sexually active, it's your responsibility to minimize these risks to the best of your abilities, i.e. wear a condom to protect yourself from STDs and pregnancy, have your girlfriend go to a Planned Parenthood in your area for birth control, etc.
While birth control methods can only reduce the risk of pregnancy, they have varying levels of effectiveness. Some of the methods, like birth control pills and condom used correctly are more than 98% effective at preventing pregnancy. Others are not nearly as effective. It's good to choose one you can handle and that you are comfortable with. Here's a link to a chart that lists effectiveness for nearly all types of birth control:
http://www.theguideto-birthcontrol.com/assets/Effectiveness_Chart.pdf
If your girlfriend is over 18 or is under 18 and has her parent's permission, she can go to a Planned Parenthood and get a prescription for birth control pills through the Hope Program without having to have a pap smear or gynecologic exam. They will weigh her and take her blood pressure and decide what pill regimen is right for her. There is a cost for the office visit and the pills (they are discounted though), but considering the expense and impact that bringing a child into this world would mean, it's reasonable. Planned Parenthood workers could also advise you on other methods of birth control and help you to become confortable with them and obtain them. I strongly encourage you to look over their website as well. It is very informative about the options available. Below is a link to the different types of birth control you can choose from if you and your girlfriend do decide to have sex.

Yes. And it's a great method. Don't have sex. It's called abstinence. Wait, wait, wait until you and your girlfriend are ready -- and mature enough -- to handle the emotional and physical things that come with sex AND the possible responsibility of a child. A minute or two of a good feeling won't seem so great when a baby is screaming at you. Good luck!

The only 100% way to not get pregnant is to not have sex. If your not ready for the responsibility of a child, your not ready for sex. Everything comes with a price tag, it's up to you to decide whether or not it's affordable.

Yes, there is one way your girl friend will not get pregnant and that birth control is - ABSTINENCE- I know women who have gotten pregnant on any other kind of birth control. You put yourself in the position to get your girl friend pregnant- if you do not want a child do not have sex- and if you chose to have sex, and she does get pregnant- please do not use abortion as a birth control method- it takes the life of an innocent child. Responsibility please!!

abstain from sex.
all types of BC only prevent 99% of the time. and as great as those odds sound, pregnancy CAN happen.
my daughter is proof.
just think...there's an added bonus to abstaining from sex. you prevent the risk of contracting, or passing, STDs.
look at sex like this: if you're scared of (or cant handle) the consequences, its not worth the risk.
