My friend and i beat each other with steel baseball bats. My leg is bruised up pretty damn good. So i wrapped it with duct tape. I don't know if it will leave a negative effect or not.

depends on how tight you wrapped it. If your foot is turning colors, then it's too tight. Adverse effects otherwise, you'll have a hard time getting it off. The longer you leave it on, the worse it will be.

First of all don't use duct tape, get an ACE BANDAGE!!!Duct tape has a chemical that could lead to blood poising.If you use an ace bandage ,it will breathe properly for circluation.Second thing to do is soak in the tub using the hottest water you can stand, then wrap it back up in the ACE bandage. GOOD LUCK ,I"M an RN , so this is professional advice.

the tape will reduce your pain by stopping the blood circulation but it is not healthy hence you remove it after some time and your problem is solved even though you will have some pain immediatly it would reduce as time goes.
