It is not necessary that all people wish to be 13 at 19 and 19 at 13. most people think in the heat of the moment. a teenager always , mind you always wants to be treated like an intelligent, capable, admirable person . why do you think 14 year old guys put hard gel on their hair (they do in my class and the stuff is really sticky).it is simply the desire to be appreciated.they think that if you behave like a 19 year old, people will treat you that way and you will be admired. they know nothing of the mirage called adulthood and think it as a gateway to freedom from school, teachers and the cliched routine.
as for why 19 year olds would like to be 13 year old. the human mind is prone to nostalgia, don't you remember the good old days when life was hassle free, when you were given chocolates by all your relatives(dairy milk, it always was). so, you star gaze back into the simple, delightful days of the yore and reminisce.

well i say what makes a person wish they were 13 or 19 is the wanting to grow up or get out of the house you know how parents are there always say crap and controling you i cant wait untill im 18 only 301 days and ill be there. well thats just my statement.

I guess, at 13.. ur parents still 'boundarize' ur freedom and you see how 19-years-old life is just so free and good and wild, full of makeout and party and sex and discos and liquers and everyhting.. so you wish you were that free and can enjoy all the enjoyment.
but when ure 19, other than just the 'fun' life, you also get to experience the real "LIFE" and then you look back to ur 13-years-old life and you see how life is just so not complicated, where life is just nothing but homeworks, school, puppy love and little crushes, parents n friends. being 13 is just easy.

wen we will be at 13 we think only we have a problem that is..not going out wid friends,and many more.and we think that the 19 ones are like free birds.but wen we come to 19 we realise that we were the luckyest wen we were at 13 b'coz of no stress of anything.

kids can't wait to grow up and be on their own have freedom and not be told what to do have control over their own lives then when the time comes you realize how crappy it is to have that control and be responsible for your own life and not have any body to fall back on for help and you miss the simple days when someone else took care of everything for you. growing up is like a reality check it sounds like the best thing in the world because all you think about as a child is the pros, and then when you reach that age you aren't expecting the cons that come along with it. its kinda like when you were a little kid like 3 and you wanted to help with the dishes or housework but you were too little then when youu got older and had to do it you hated it!!

children want to go to movie with their friends but they r not allowed to go cauz they are too small for that. thats why they think they wish they were 19 .and people at 19 have responsibilities and pressure upon them that is why they wish they were much more smaller to get rid of there responsibilities.
i think u understood what i mean.

sex! 13 year old know they will be allowed to have sex when their 19 and 19 year old know they could have a lot more time to have even more sex if they were 13

basically be responsive to which you're no longer on my own, i've got not got any skills the two. yet undergo in thoughts that maximum persons are proficient, so as that all of them become instructors or artwork in a shop. So yeah, basically attempt and recover from it.
