ive bought a new coat its a padde one, you know the diamond shape type? and anyway it was still in the package when i bought it so it was folded and on the sleeves theres a line going down it and it wont go flat! ive tried washing and drying it but it wont work and im not risking ironing it, its annoying coz i cant wear it until it gets a better shape. even on the back it sticks out like ive got a hunchback coz of how it was folded. anyone had this problem and managed to sort it??

i had this problem, a long time ago. i was told if you went to sleep in it, just on the couch for a quick nap, it is suppose to shape it to your body and sort out creases, it worked for me.

Take it to a professional. Try a dry cleaner first, but only one that you trust. Explain what the problem is that see if there's something they can do to help.

Your second option is a good tailor. There might be something minor that they can alter to slightly change the problem area. Again, only a tailor you trust, though.

Otherwise, I would personally send it back, especially if you paid a lot for it. You don't want to invest in pieces that aren't perfect for your body. Keep your eye out for another one online and it store windows. The perfect one will head your way.

awh pet you shouldn't have washed it. you should've brought it or sent it straight back to the place you bought it and demanded a refund or a new one. But you've washed it now so you have limited your chance of redress. I would still try to get a new one.

You should try ironing it but with a towel over it so it wont cause any damage! x
