However, in the present context, the fight for the top slot is between Ponting, Lara and Sachin with the Aussie with his nose in front with his ability to monotonously win matches single-handedly.

Personally Brian Lara and Sachin remain the best and most talented batsmen playing the game today. Pointing and Hussey are OK but they don't give you chills when they bat.

Current, i think Dhoni is a best batsman but if you see all performances then Sachin is best batsman in the world, ALL OTHER PLAYERS AROUND THE WORLD AGREE WITH THAT, PONTING, HUSSEY, LARA, DRAVID, ALL PLAYERS AGREE WITH THAT!!!!!!!
