no. not unless apple releases a software update. only the new ipod has this feature.

If you have a new ipod, scroll down to the bottom of the Music Menu. There is a search function there. Type the first letters of the name of the song, artist, or album. A list will appear on the same screen.

The new ipods have a search function already on them.

Only if you have one of the newest one's...like ipod video or something!
