I have a dell laptop and have had 3 keys fall off. They dont seem to be broken and I can't just push them back on like a desktop pc. Anybody have this problem and know how to put them back on? Thanks!

There's a couple things that you can do. You can get some tweezers and try to put them on, but chances are they'll fall off or it will exacerbate yout typing situation by making the cursor jump around by the the uneven pressure applied to the clips and srpings on the key when it was put back on. Your best bet is to contact Dell (800) 822-8965, or go to http://support.dell.com and chat with a technician to have a keyboard ordered. To be honest, it's realtively easier to install a new keyboard with the keys intact, instead of trying to place the keys back on. Granted there will be some extra steps in removing the keyboard, but at least the keys will stay on.

if your keyboard is like mine, you can put the plastic or metal tabs back into place while holding they in play using tiny tweezers.....but be careful as they might break...mine did. I ended up buying a new keyboard on ebay for $50 and just putting that in. It is apain to do that but it is possible with tiny screwdrivers a steady hand and a ton of patience!
