What's your definition of a sexist male? Is it a man who acts like a gentleman and opens doors for ladies? Alot of women consider that as being sexist....I do not. I love a male who is a complete gentleman...
Also, why are some women so sexist? It works both ways.
What has hitting kids to discipline them got to do with any of this anyway? Your suggesting that only men hit their kids....I spank my son sometimes as a last resort....it was how I was raised and it didn't do me any harm.
P.S. There's a huge difference between swatting your kids on the butt and abusing them...very big difference!

I believe in discipline, but like every other things, there must be limits. You can control your hand, but not a belt. What's more, as long as you're consistent (not punishing for something one day, and letting them get away with it the next), and you and your spouse agree on what's right or wrong, then discipline can be very beneficial. But to hit a child, just because as a man you think it's your duty, I say is wrong.

Spanking or paddling rocks. The downfall of our society began when parents and teachers could not paddle anymore. You didn't have have the problems in schools until the paddles went away. Beating and discipline are NOT the same. You'll spend half your childs life taking awy games and using puzzy azz "time out" but you smack that azz once or twice and you'll probably never have to do it again. Respect will grow from fear and you will have a loving, well behaved child.

Men are not born sexist, but raised that way. Society's view of women in print and visual ads/programs/movies is giving them a warped view of what women are and how to treat them. It's also the family's fault with what they allow/tolerate as far as women are concerned. We were raised to never hit women, my parents were great examples of how to treat each other in a relationship. This was back in the 60s and 70s but I remember my father treating my mother with respect and valuing her opinion.
As for hitting kids - a big NO. This only teaches kids that they can control someone/situation by hitting or force.

You are absolutely right there are men and women out their that hit their children and that is absolutely wrong. All this does is teach children that it is ok to hurt others that are smaller and weaker than themselves. Time outs and taking away something they enjoy works much more effectively.

the hitting part i am with you ,the sexist part i question, my neighbor is a social worker and there are plenty of women who beat their kids as well, in fact in many cases there is a greater probability of a woman beating her kids ,since many women spend more time around their kids as stay at home mothers.

Men, like what someone above said, are taught to be sexist. This is a very sad fact and hopefully it will change. Because we all know men are NOT better than women, no sex is better.
And those who troll on this board are probably not that sexist, they are just trolls trying to incite something, they have no life.

They probably do it because they were disciplined in that way when they were kids.
