when i connect my ipod shuffle to thedesktop on the usb port, its not properly connected, its ligth goes pink,green,pink,green and so on which shows it's not properly connected, what can i do?

you restart the computer with the shuffel still coneccted and then when it lights up green u pull it out.

1st Gen Ipod Shuffles may require a reset using Apple's Ipod Shuffle Reset Utility. Try getting the utility here:
