It's got a 7.7L (Or 472 cu. in. engine). Someone told me it's by the carburetor, another person told me it's under the driver seat under the car. I have no clue. I've looked at both places and couldn't find anything, unless it's IN the carburetor or elsewhere.

where the fuel line goes into the carburetor . the fitting of the fuel line will either be 9/16 or 5/8 going into a larger 1 in fitting it is tinside this larger fitting , you must remove the fuel line from the larger fitting first , then remove the large one and the fuel filter will be inside . word of caution . when you reassemble everything be care ful that you don't cross thread the fittings , this is a common occurence and if you strip or cross thread any thing you have a bigger problem

Lots of cars from that era had the filter right on the carb, in the fitting where the fuel line screws in. A brass looking piece, may just need cleaned.
