I like to cook so I spend a lot of my free time in the kitchen. It makes a great family room and we all learn something new while we are hanging out together. We also enjoy entertaining so I always have my cook books handy!
Also the food network is a great web site to have book marked...(if your looking for new things to try)

Don't put your meatloaf down...they are very easy to mess up when they are dry as dirt, and taste like cooked hamburg!!! It's an art to make a good meatloaf!!!

lasagna. i start by lining the bottom of the pan with sauce, noodles, meat mixture (sausage and burger seasoned ), cheese mixture (ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, romano seasoned), then repeat for 7 layers. it comes out about 8 inches thick, and in a very large roaster pan. on top i put very thinly sliced peppers (green, red, yellow, and orange), then tomatoes and mushrooms, then on top a layer of mozzarella. cooked until browned on top. viola. delicioso. it's kickas*. want some? p.s., the sauce is homemade. my secret recipe. i get a lot of people requesting it for any parties i go to.

Well, it is my homemade Chicken Stew. It's just Chicken, broth, onions, carrots, peas, potatoes and a little thickening. Usually served with/over homemade biscuits. For some reason, folks just ask for that.
