Leave it as it is or it will end up being like American Football.
Do we really want a game where they stop to have little discussions every minute over the littlest things or a game full of excitement and frustrations?

1966, Technology, 1866, "what, when, why". No technology. Well not for football. Medicine, Science, Mankinds and the Environments existence, "YES" But, football. " Football"! are we being real here? Someone once said. "It,s only a game, it,s not a matter of life and death". Then a great footballing legend, said to another great footballing legend. " Life and death, football is more important than that". He was joking! He knew what he was saying. He knew the response this would receive. Today technology, can provide the answers to most things. Keep it out of sporting debate. We may through Technology, bemoan the camera showed we should have won! but will we really own up to say, the camera was right, we should have lost! No, of course not, leave it to the Ref.
After all, 50% should agree with him. However, with all this technology, whether it should or should n,t be used. Why not make these highly paid players, play till there is a winner. No draws, an outright winner.

Yes, it is definetly time for goal-line technology to be brought into football. They use video technology in sports such as Tennis, Cricket and Rugby League and it has been a huge success in those sports, enabling the ref to always get the decision right. Being a spurs fan that influences my answer even more. Does that ring any bells utd? It was 0-0 at old trafford in january 2005, towards the end of the utd v spurs game, me and my son were watching the game on the edge of our chairs waiting for the final whistle to be blown. Then Roy Caroll the utd 'keeper at the time, rushed out of goal and cleared the ball away. It bounced and went to spurs midfielder (now portsmouth) Pedro Mendes. He then shot from nearly 50 yards and Roy Caroll was scrambling back to stop an embarrasment. But he couldn't prevent it and the ball went over the line. However, Roy Caroll clawed the ball away from behind the line and, as far as the linesman was concerned it was no goal! The goal wasn't given and the game ended 0-0! Beating Man United at Old Trafford is a big thing to us Spurs fans and we were denied it because of the fact that there is no goal-line technology!

100% yes!!!!
most other sports now use replays and various other technology, without ruining the game!
i think it should be used to see if the ball has crossed the line or not and for offside decisions when a goal has been scored....SKY can show an instant replay in seconds...so the 4th official could have a TV next to him and he could watch it immediately ( he hasn't got much else to do!).
some people wont like this at 1st...but in time all will see it's fairer for everyone and will stop a lot of arguements and bad feeling in the future!!

yes obviously its beyond time for the soccer to use the technology to determine if the ball crossed or not because many times this creates too confusion n it also makes a team loses

Absolutely, main referees+2 line referees simply cannot get a clear view with what happened in the penalty box sometimes.
It should be done long time ago as long as they work out a way to relay the judgement back to the main referee.

yes without doubt. but this should be the only time, otherwise the game would go on forever. football would never be the same if all the debates about wether or not the ref was right wrong.all sat. nights without the usual arguments would be a very quiet one.

no, whats next, robot refs? cmon man technology isn't the answer to everything. if a guy can't tell when a ball crosses a line he shouldn't be out there.

Agree. Leave it as it is and has been since the game was invented. The beautiful game is being ruined by the money men in their pursuit of buying success.
