I would call my gyno. Most "first" periods, after stopping the pill, last 7 days, and are really bad....lots of cramping, heavy flow, etc., so yours does not sound "normal" to me. Call the doctor and see what he/she says. I don't think it's a cause for concern, but to be on the safe side, call and ask.

Yes that's normal. It takes a few months to get back to normal....oh and be prepared for a higher sex drive too. I went off the pill (after being on it for about 7 years) while my husband was away for basic training. I thought I'd go stark raving mad! lol

Yes this is perfectly normal. You hormones have not gotten back to their original state yet and it might take a couple of months to get back to how they were before. They may not go back to exactly how they were before as your body may have changed in this time.
You will probably find your body takes a little while to readjust just as it did when you initially went onto the pill.
