McGahee is better because they can get him for less money. Lewis has accomplished more and will cost more. McGahee has the ability to be great in NY.

They will do better with Jacobs and another young quick running back in the draft then going with ether Lewis or Mcgahee. But Mcgahee is the better choice and fit betwwen the 2 since the Giants already have Brandon Jacobs for there "big" back

They should sign McGahee if it doesn't cost them a 1st round pick. Jamal Lewis will never be an impact RB again and they already have Jacobs who is a power runner just like Lewis.

Sounds like the Ravens want to re-sign Lewis for less money. Lewis may or may not be up for that but he should realize that he won't warrant the huge contract like he could have 2 years ago.

None of the Above! The Jets Last year Drafted Leon Washington in the 4th round. Giants don't need a free agent. You Build through the draft.

Lewis, he is a good power back and can help new york run the very important two back system in the nfl these days. Steelers won with a Vet and Young back and indy won with a speed and power back so why wouldn't is work with lewis and jacobs.

Lewis won't cost the Giants potential draft picks - but he hasn't been the same since he spent time in prison.
If I had to choose one of the two, McGahee has the better upside.

McGahee because they already have a power back in Jacobs. Plus unless they are going to pay big money Jamal is probably going back to Baltimore, again.

You have asked a great question!!! When I read this I thought that it is a great idea. Lewis and Jacobs in a 1-2 punch would be a great idea.
Thank you for actually bringing up an interesting prospect!!
