Did the Congo ever get an apology from Belgium or any aid/reparations following the anihilation of over 10 million of its inhabitants in the 1920s and under the auspices of King Leopold?

About the numbers can be discussed, with the information that I've already seen I think 10 millions is exaggerated. I think they are too high but there is no excuse for colonisation.
The Belgians did ask already different times apology for what went wrong and Congo has already received millions euros in development aids from Belgium.
But have the bigger colonial countries already asked pardon for what they did ? What about the Muslims that ravaged Congo for slaves for many decades (and by doing so killed many more people than the Belgians ever did) ?
What about the Congolese for killing innocent missionaries ? What about the Congolese politicians towards their own people with their corruption ?
I think that if we start apologising we don't stop any more. The Belgians know that they have a responsibility towards Congo and are taking this responsibility, problem is that the Congolese government does not always take its own responsibility by being so corrupt. What about the good roads, hospitals, health care, industrial infrastructure that existed in Congo at the Independence ? A countries which such advantages in 1961 has been destroyed not by the Belgians but by their own politicians.

NO. Your question is superb, but please expand your thinking to include the entire Belgium imperialism throughout Africa, including the modern nations of Horn of Africa. A good source, surprisingly enough, are books on the American Explorer er Stanley. Also, the Belgium people are a nation of grand hero's from their experience in WW1 and WW11. Treat them kindly and look at King Leopold biography for answers to his insane lust for power and wealth.
