Oky so Ted is dead. He had the powers to blow up New York. I thought Peter was going to absorb his powers and not be able to control them and blow it up. So if Ted is dead, how is Peter going to do it b/c the guy painted that he was going to do it. And how come Claire was there?

Ted and Matt are both sedated and strapped to tables in the Primatech Lab. Eric Roberts' character told Mr. Bennett that they would find out "what makes him spark" and then he alluded to killing Ted afterwards.
There are some spoilers out and about which hint that actually Peter has all the powers and it's when others come into contact with him or with someone who's been in contact with him that their powers are awakened. We'll just have to stay tuned and see....

Ted is alive and well and currently a guinea pig for the Company. Clair was there to show she can survive his powers, so therefore Peter can as well. I think Clair and the Haitian are going to head to New York. She knows her bio-dad is from there and she knows Peter is there, too. I think they'll go to Peter for help and end up finding out that Nathan is daddy. By the way, not all of Isaac's paintings come true exactly as painted. Didn't he paint one of Clair without the top of her head? I think the bomb will go off in New York but that the devastation will be avoided for the most part.

No telling.
So far Peter has never met Ted so it is hard to imagine how he will get Ted's power is beyond me.
I am sure it was just a dream but Peter dreams what happens to other heroes.
The interesting thing was that Claire was wearing her cheerleader outfit and yet it burned up in the fire.
Hmmm.

Didn't you ever see the Terminator? "The future is not set." Isaac painted New York blowing up, and Peter had a dream that it was him, but now events have occurred that may cause that not to happen. Claire was there because it was her house and her father that Ted and Matt were looking for. I'm more concerned about what will happen when Peter finds out that Claire is his niece.

We don't know yet that ted is dead. Peter pettrelli is just learning about his powers, I think he has them all just doesn't know it yet. I'm more interested in finding out about hiro and if that is really his father and who his father really is.

Uh, he's not dead. Claire gave him a tranquilizer. Yeah he blew up, but so did the house where his wife was, so he is alive, as we saw at the end of the episode, he was on a table in the lab.
