calm down sweetie the stress and worry is not good for the baby or you.And i know its easier said than down when you are dealing with your child here who is your life. But breathe slow and relax.I think that you are far enough along and with the added 2-3 weeks you will be at 35-36 weeks and that is not that early at all.And with todays moderen medicine and the Drs knowledge and equipment i think your little one will be just fine. She will probably be in new born Icu for a few days to a couple of weeks, to help her out a little, there will be all kinds of tubes and wires so dont get alarmed this is for her bennifit, and to monitor her and make sure her lungs and heart is working correctly.so dont get upset when you see her be strong and she will draw strength from you & talk to her tell her how much you love her and want her let her know that mommy is with her.Now that was the worst case senerio the best case senerio is that we will all be praying for her and that God will reach down and touch you and her, keep you safe from harm and that she will be born with her little lungs fully developed and everything will be fine. That she will weigh enough and not even have to lay eyes on the new born Icu, that she will come out screaming which will be music to your ears. But Pray and ask God for his help honey he gave you this mirical so Trust in him God doesnt have way do nothing and when he does do something he prefects it,so pray and trust in the Lord and cast all your cares upon him and let him handle them.He loves you and that little girl to and i am believing in faith that you both will be ok!please let me know how you are doing you can email me through yahoo answers. You and that beautiful little girl is in my thoughts and prayers,And dont forget to thank the good Lord for the miricals he has given and is going to give to you!Take care & I wish you the best sweetie God Bless you and the baby, and her Daddy!

my mom had me early she also went into preterm labor, they stopped it, and then at week 34 or 35, she had me, and that was 18 years ago. Im fine, and I was born with no problems. I didnt even have to stay in the hospital for extra days! The good thing is, if you do go into labor early, the dr's will give you steriods to help mature your little girls lungs, so she wont have a hard time breathing when she comes out. I think you and Teyona will be just fine... Good luck and God bless!!!

I was just reading yesterday that any baby that was born around that time will be healthy and have very few or no problems at all.
Also does your baby get the hiccups a lot? That's how you know her lungs and immune system are developed and will do fine breathing on her own. I'm sure everything will be fine! So relax and get ready to see your little girl.
I'm 34 weeks and am also having a girl!

33 weeks is old enough for the baby's lungs to be developed to breathe on her own. Lots of women give birth at 30-35 weeks with no problems...a lot of times, these babies arent' even considered premature because they are big enough and healthy enough to be full term.
You doctor didn't seem incredibly concerned that you're starting contractions again, so she's probably not that worried about it either. You'll be fine. :) And so will the baby.

First of all do your best to stay calm, and yes a baby can make it and be okay this early on. Woman have had babies around six months in and the baby be fine. Recently on the news they told of a baby born so small that it did not even fill a hand. So don't worry, that's the worst thing you can do.

I am going to pray that your baby will be okay. If your baby does come early, she will probably have to spend some time in NICU. It will probably be difficult for you not to be able to take her home right away. There was a lady in Florida that gave birth to her baby around 22 weeks and her baby survived and is doing well. Here is the link if you want to read the article. I wish you the best of luck.

Your baby should be fine, this really isn't that early and as long as you've gained weight properly and taken care of yourself (and it sounds from your concern that you've been very conscientious about your pregnancy) then just relax and enjoy this time. You and your husband should cherish the anticipation you feel right now as your lives will never be the same. Please try and relax. I had two spring babies and envy you this time in your life. (One summer baby, boy was that hard, soooo hot). Good Luck to you both.

Relax! You and your baby are going to be just FINE! Women deliver their babies at 32 weeks every single day. Any baby born after 28 weeks very rarely has any problems.

yup your baby should be fine, however i would ask them since they already suspect you to deliver early to give you a steriod shot fo rthe babies lungs. your baby will be fine. if you deliver now most likely the baby will be in the nicu for a few days to a few weeks just depending on how she does. just be prepared taht there is a chance that you wont bring baby home immediately. but she will make it.
