well it depends what you are trying to say..... what are risk factors? who are most vulnerable? what is being done to minimise these accidents? are these strategies working? you could compare two different approaches, such as zero tolerance or more lenient laws. what about the role of education? to what extent are pedestrians figuring in the statistics? what types of vehicles? in some states in australia they are banning new drivers from driving certain types of car, and are thinking about passenger limits and curfues for these drivers, as they figure prominently in fatality statistics. what do you think are good measures and why???

Since u have the introduction paragraph, I proceed to answer ur 'can I say question' or better still 'ur problem'
The point people must note while using the road as a pedestrian or a vehicle rider, is to note that there are certain rules which when followed diligently, accidents can be avoided. First of all people must be aware that they are on a road and this must be used in such a way that ur usage doesn't cause any hinderances to other road users. Pedestrians while crossing the road must make sure that they are taking the right path to crossing i.e 'zebra cross' or sub-way cross or overhead bridge. The vehicle drivers must be always alert on the road. Even if they are alert they can run into trouble by reckless driving by other vehicle drivers. My suggestion to road users, pedestrians and drivers of vehicles is that they should be alert and avoid accidents. Accidents avoided is life saved or damages averted. The message to road users that they must strive to avoid accidents by following the traffic rules diligently, will be the best service one can do to the society in the present times when especially the roads are getting overcrowded with vehicles of all sizes and there is hardly space for the pedestrians. Road users beware of trouble always. Alertness will save u always. Best of luck
